Christmas cake

We order a Christmas cake at the shop near my house every year. However, we couldn’t buy the cake this year at the shop because we hadn’t ordered it until a day before Christmas Eve. So my wife bought two sponge cakes and decorated them with straw berries and whipped cream. They were cheaper than a cake from the cake shop but as delicious as a cake from the cake shop.
