Trial event of swimming

My elder daughter participated in a swimming trial at school yesterday. Teachers measured the time of a twenty-five meter swim. 4 students, including my daughter, swam the crawl together. She finished last but was able to swim across the twenty-five meters pool. I wasn't much of a swimmer, so I admired her.
