Summer vacation ends

My daughter’s summer vacation ends today. They told me it’s bittersweet. They spent most of summer vacation with my wife. They did their homework, cooked dinner, and watched TV with her. It was their pleasure. When I was an elementary school student, I spent summer vacation with my sister. My mother had to work because my family was not so rich. So I envy them a little.  Because of that, they feel sad, but they also feel happy because they will be able to see their friends for the first time in a while.
